Experience & Requirements:
- 2-4 years of Commercial or Residential electrical construction-related experience (low voltage experience).
- Experience with access control systems preferred.
- Experience in security or fire systems is highly preferred.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Extensive travel is required (up to three weeks at a time).
- Experience in managing high-tension situations on job sites.
- Experience in managing job paperwork accurately and professionally.
Responsibilities:
- Install new access control systems for hotel and resort properties including magnetic locks (maglocks), electric strikes, electronic panic bars, PIR (Motion Sensors), Exit Push Buttons, RCUs (Remote Control Units), Power Supplies with relay boards, etc.
- Effectively troubleshoot and service existing access control systems for customers in hotel and resort properties.
- Install exit devices with electronic trim hardware on doors for hotel and resort properties.
- Complete beginning job inventory of shipped locks and material onsite as well as property door inventory.
- Effectively track installation progress as the job is completed to ensure productivity and proper materials are on site to complete the job.
- Accurately complete job paperwork package for each job.
- Effectively track expenses for each job and organize all receipts for each job to ensure proper expense tracking.
